headlamp bulbs
H4 and HS1 bulbs both have three flat prongs; H4 is usually 60/55 W and HS1 35/35 W.

S2 bulbs have a round metal base with two pins (BA20d); H6 bulbs a flanged base (P15d) on small motorcycles.

Some newer motorcycles have a sealed LED headlamp: the whole unit is replaced, not a bulb.

The type is printed on the bulb's metal base or in the owner's manual.
